Monday 25th November – 2 snow buntings still present

Sunday 24th November –  – 2 snow bunting, marsh harrier.

Saturday 23rd November – common buzzard, 2 little egret, grey partridge, woodcock, sparrowhawk, 40+ skylark, barn owl and 3 pintail from hide

Sunday 17th November – (Paul M) – 2 common buzzard again, 500 golden plover, 2 redpoll and siskin over. Also 120 bar tailed godwit and, in the ditch running to the left of the flood bank towards the last lagoon, had good views of an adult water rail

Saturday 16th November – (Paul M) 500 golden plover, 6 grey plover and a flock of 20 fieldfare.

Sunday 10th November – (Paul M) A single bullfinch seen around FortPaull scrub, 2 little egret, 150 golden plover, 2 sparrowhawk, a single rook and 2 common buzzard. Along the flood the bank near the hide heard and then saw on the ground for a couple of minutes what was presumably last weeks potential Richard’s pipit

Saturday 9th November – (Paul M) Very quiet with about 2000 golden plover, small numbers of redwing and fieldfare over.

Sunday 3rd November – strong SW – only thing of note was a tortoiseshell butterfly near fort Paull!

Saturday 2nd November – light SW – buzzard, fieldfare, 5 redwing, 2 little egret, grey plover. 2 roe deer. Possible Richards Pipit over on call (Confirmed by sighting on 10thNov)

    call pretty much a clyncher mate. Did you see it at all?

      Hi Roy

      It was Paul who saw and heard it but not 100% sure! he knew it was something different as it flew over and thought the call was a Richards. He has since heard a recording of the call and is fairly sure it was one.
