25th January 2014 – SE winds – single pink-footed goose with a flock of greylag, marsh harrier over strays and 5 buzzards distant over farmland. Good numbers of waders on Humber including golden plover, lapwing, dunlin, redshank, curlew and grey plover

Pink Footed Goose followed by 4 of the 5 distant Buzzards seen!

5th January 2014 – SW winds continue on with no sign of change. Sparrowhawk, rock pipit, goldcrest & long-tailed tit. 3000+ golden plover and 500+ lapwing. Bar-tailed godwit, 23 turnstone.

2nd January 2014 – the year starts as 2013 finished with constant SW winds. Good start to the year for raptors with male & female peregrine, marsh harrier, buzzard and kestrel
